New “smart” design destroyed everything

On all the shoes of the new lineup they put some thin rubber wrapped around the shoes to make it more traditional look. That is what makes all the problem. I read a lot of people complaining about the new design. For example it makes the “cloudy comfortable feel” hfs more rigid and narrow (hfs ii). In my case it press against the out edges of my middle feet (the widest parts). I have no problem wearing mesa trail wp size 40 and hfs even 39.5 because there is nothing press against my foot edges my foot can expand with the meshes. But this scrambler mid II WP 40 just makes the outside edges of my feet hurt after some walk. They have the new design only to make the sole more durable so they can lower the rate of warranty claim I guess. For the customers it only makes things worse. It makes shoes less flexible, less barefoot feel, less comfortable etc. I’ve always liked how comfortable Xero shoes feel but I’m not happy that I just wasted 150 euro. Xero should really think about withdrawing the “new design”. Otherwise I guess at least me in the future I will stay away from this brand for good.

Bequeme und zuverlässige Wanderschuhe

Die Scramber Mid II WP sind leicht und sehr angenehm zu tragen (typisch Xero). Mit der Michelin-Sohle hat man einen sehr guten Grip und bis jetzt sind sie absolut wasserdicht, aber auch atmungsaktiv. Optisch sehen die Schuhe sehr gut aus. Ich hoffe dass in Zukunft noch andere Farben hinzukommen werden. Eventuell etwas teuer aber ansonsten eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Definitely waterproof

Great! You realy slide in these shoes. Overall great first feeling. I even used them on my motorcycle in the pouring rain, no problem! One minus: after a first walk I noticed they were a bit to short. My big toe keeps rubbing the front. It wasn’t noticeable in the beginning and it’s not super uncomfortable (yet). I read the sizing correctely and my size fitted perfectly for a 40.5 with still some space Left. But apparently not. Shame, I wore them to hard to send back I guess. Otherwise love them!
