Tire Inspired Design

The Scrambler Low shares the Michelin made, mountain bike tire-inspired outsole with its sibling, our Scrambler Mid.

The sole uses Michelin’s fiberlite technology, an embedded textile layer that creates a thin, lightweight, flexible, strong product.

Lightweight, Breathable, and Confident

At just 263.7 grams per shoe (M42), the Scrambler Low weighs less than many hiking sandals.

You’ll enjoy the breathable mesh upper year round.

The iconic Xero Shoes adjustable instep and midfoot straps will help you feel secure no matter where you take the Scrambler Low.

WE MAKE TRAIL RUNNING SHOES SO COMFORTABLE, YOU’LL FORGET THEY’RE EVEN ON.

If your feet don’t feel as good at the end of the day as they did in the beginning, you haven’t tried the Scrambler Low.

Life-changing comfort and superior performance come from letting your feet do what’s natural – bend, move, flex and feel.

All Xero Shoes feature a wider, foot-shaped toe box that lets your toes spread and relax, a non-elevated “zero drop” heel for proper posture, low-to-the-ground design for perfect balance and agility, and a flexible sole that gives you “just right” protection so you can bend, move, flex, and Live Life Feet First!

Scrambler Low – The perfect trail shoe with a quality problem

I was looking for a trail shoe to use for a hiking trip that I plan to do during this summer 2024. A month ago I bought the Scrambler Low and started use them daily in order to find out if they would work for me. I started to really like them. They are comfortable, well ventilated, sits on foot really well going up and down in steep terrain, the sole has a great grip on both dry and wet surfaces and the thickness of the sole handle ruff terrain including sharp rocks (the Michelin sole is great). My feet and legs were happy and I was sure this was the perfect shoe for me to use during my long hike during this summer (GR10). Because I liked them so much the greater was the disappointment when I discover that the top mesh on both sides started to tear apart. A small tear that quickly grow bigger. It is happening where my toes bend when walking. This appeared after only 3 weeks of use! The shoe looks like new and everything else is perfect. A week ago I contacted the store where I bought them but haven’t received any reply so far (Sweden). If the top mesh was made in a durable material I would definitely buy them, but until then they are not usable:(.

First experience

I have used the the shoes for some cycling tours in preparation of my summer cycling trip. So far sooo good. No problems with my toes (Morton's neuroma). Hiking is OK. The upper part is not waterproof at all, so be prepared for wet feet. Hoop they dry quickly

Best walking experience 2

After 6 month with the Scrambler mid (and four other Xero models) I bought the Scrambler low because I love the smooth walking experience with the Michelin sole. For me the best choice for the use on sidewalks and pavement. Most of my daily 10000 steps occur on such ground. Other shoes like the Ridgeway are good for walks in parks and on a bit rougher territory. I would like to have a waterproof version of the Scrambler too.

Fully satisfied

My new Scrambler Low are my fifth pair of Xero shows. I am using all of them for different occasions. The length of my feet is 270mm, usually I need size 43 EU with most brands but 43.5 with Xero. As far I have used the Scrambler Low indoor only. This works perfectly because the soles do not leave marks on the floor. Astonishingly, they are completely silent, i.e., no clack-clack like sandals. Obviously, the barefoot feeling is not as direct as with very thin soles. The slight damping reminds me of an gel insole which is fantastic because this gives me some protection against firm ground.

Bravo
