While the boot has a thin layer of our TrailFoam™ to provide extra comfort and protection on rough trails, the thick sole is an illusion created by our design team to make this look like a conventional hiking boot. You get the lightweight flexibility you’ve come to expect from Xero Shoes. viel zu schmal!!

Der Schuh ist viel schmaler, als mein alter Scrambler Mid, mir taten sofort die Füße weh, geht leider wieder zurück. Schade!

Great shoes, great traction!

I love these! They are really waterproof! I wear them without insoles in order to have more ground feel, since the michellin sole is a bit thicker. The sole is very durable compared to mesa trail. It has amazing traction, perfect for trails! The collar around the ankle is soft and comfy. My feet are 25,5 and 25,2 cm and size 40,5 was too small, so I exchanged them for 41, which feels great. I wear scrambler low size 40,5, but the boots are higher and push the foot a bit more forward, so I had to size up. I love the fact that these are vegan.

Wateproof shoes even for colder days.

These shoes are pretty good, but only if you do not have high big toe. I even exchanged originally ordered size for bigger, but still, my toenail keeps hitting the top of the toebox and that is pretty annoying. It's not because the size of the shoe is small but the space in the toebox is quite low. When I tried to remove the insole, it was pretty ok, but these cannot be used without them, as there are some seams hidden beneath. Apart from that, they are very comfy and realy waterproof. But because of the height of the toebox they just sit in my wardrobe waiting for someone that could use them comfortably.
