To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Best change ever

have been wearing barefoot shoes for a year now. But as summer has come I realised I needed new sandals. Since my D Trail sandals arrived, I have worn nothing else. They are so comfortable, I could not go back to traditional sandals.

Disappointment

On paper a promising sandal (small, light) but in practice with many annoying design flaws. There is not enough support from the straps, the sandal has too much movement on the foot. The front strap is not adapted enough to the toes, so that the little toe occasionally easily slips out from underneath. Also they are somewhat difficult to put on as the ankle pad is not sewn on and has to be adjusted by hand each time. If the insole gets wet, the sandals become surprisingly slippery... I found that other brands sandals are much better at this. With prolonged use, the sole does not conform to the foot - as usual/expected - but bends downwards(!), which makes the wearing experience even more uncomfortable and causes unneccessary flapping. Unfortunately Xero does not offer a 30 day trial money-back-guarantee so I'm now stuck with dissapointing (and expensive) sandals. Note to Xero: a few days ago I already submitted the evaluation. Was it deliberately withheld? If required, I can send the proof of purchase.
