Like the original HFS, the HFS II is super lightweight (235 g for a men’s 42) so you’ll feel like you’re flying down the road. And with a new tire tread-inspired outsole, you’ll feel secure even if you go off road.

HFS II is so comfy, you might forget to take them off at the end of your run – we’ve even had people go to bed still wearing their shoes because they forgot they had them on!

We’ve added a thin BareFoam™ layer for extra protection and wrapped it, cup-like, around the upper giving the HFS II a more familiar-looking profile.

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Evolution of HFS 1

I've had now 3 pairs of the original HFS1. The first 2 I bought were just amazing out of the box, very supple and I had size 47. After about 3 months they ended up after loosening up, almost a whole size too big for me, (I'm basically size 46.5 feet with one foot half size bigger than the other so always a challenge getting the right fit), so the third pair I ordered Size 46, but wore them without the sockliner/inner sole. This made them fit perfectly! Literally the best training / running shoes I've ever owned. The new HFS2 (which I got in the brightest Orange colour😁) feels a only slightly more solid. Some have criticized this but honestly I think it's a better idea, because I noticed with the HFS 1 after about a year it got VERY flexible to the point where it felt just too sock like, like it was going to rip. The new version feels like it needs to break in and soften up a bit which is fine, I think these should be more durable. They still feel sock like- almost a racing flat or indoor soccer shoe without spikes. I used them for jump rope, change of direction sprints gym work and 10k runs. They should fair better off road also. Looks wise, cooler than ever. Fantastic. Keep up the good work Xero.

Seem smaller than my previous Xero's/

There shoes seem smaller than the previious Xero shoes I've purchased. They are too tight across the top of my foot and seem generally smaller. I have loosened the laces so much to make them comfortable that there isn't enough ace left to tie a knot. I'm wearing them around the house and short outdoor walks in the hope that they'll loosen up.

Best shoe I have every purchased.

I am just so happy with this shoe. I instantly started smiling when I started walking in them. For driving is also great if you are a fan of feeling the pedals. I can only recommend it.
