Q: What's different between the Prio, HFS, and Speed Force?

The Prio is our best-selling "do almost anything" shoe -- running, hiking, working out, you name it. With a durable upper, it provides a bit more protection. The Speed Force is our lightest, "most barefoot" shoe. More feedback as you step and a mesh upper that holds like a glove, you get a "barely there" experience. The HFS is lighter than the Prio, more rugged than the Speed Force. The HFS's sole has a new tire tread-inspired sole that's made to handle roads and have extra traction. The huarache-inspired midfoot and instep straps are "hiding" behind a protective welded material. And the lining using "37.5" material, which is designed for extra moisture wicking.

Why “HFS?”

Well, it could be for the “Highly Flexible Sole” that lets your foot move naturally, or the face you’ll make when you put it on — “Happy Face Shoe” — or the way you run in it with a “High Frequency Stride”, or what you exclaim when you put it on and feel the comfort and light weight: “Holy ___ ___!”

There are as many possible answers as there are things you’ll do in the HFS.

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

What’s different between the 360 ̊ and the HFS?

The 360 ̊ is a protective cross-training shoe for more aggressive exercise and activity.
The 360 ̊’s sole comes with an omni-directional tread for traction while jumping or scaling obstacles.
And the upper has “grip ribs” for effortless rope climbing and extra durability.

The HFS is lighter than the 360 ̊ , with a more breathable mesh for running.
The HFS’s sole has a tire tread-inspired sole that’s made to handle roads and have extra traction.
And the lining using “37.5” material, which is designed for extra moisture wicking.

Great shoes

Simply shoes well made. Great quality of the shoe and good shape of the sole. Quite versatile too. While I use them for running and trekking, I don´t feel any shoes at all 🙂 After walking over 40km in a day with them, my feet were fine (except for sore muscles). Highly recommended.

They smell

I'm not a person who smells from my feet. But I bought a pair of the black ones that I'm using for about two weeks and I can't stand the smell. I even bought one of those sprays anti-smell but it didn't do anything. The thing is that I have other shoes from Xero and love them, but I have two pairs of black sneakers (this model and a different one) and they both smell, I haven't had any problems with other colors. Can it be the fabric?
