Q: How do the straps work in the Prio?

All the straps -- the heel and instep -- are adjustable for a secure, comfy fit. To use the instep straps, simply tighten or loosen them with the tension of the lace that goes through them. For the heel strap, it's best to adjust it by gently sliding it through the "wing" in the sole rather than yanking on it.

The Kids’ Prio has everything you love about the adult version, plus we’ve made a few changes, just for them:

More grip! We spaced out the lugs and made them bigger on the FeelTrue® soles to give them better traction.
Ergonomic fit We didn’t just shrink the adult Prio, we changed the shape for a better fit.
Just-right feedback We also thinned out the sole a little bit to make it extra flexible, give kids the right amount of ground-feel and protection.
Unisex fit Don’t worry about boys vs. girls, the Kids Prio is made for both.

A note about sizing

The numbers for kids sizes change. The Kids Prio is available for EU size 30 – 34, and then jumps to 36. Above that, you may want to consider the adult Women’s Prio for the next size up.

We know that kids grow, and we’re not fans of buying shoes “that they’ll grow into.”

To help out if your kids get too big for their Prio, we’ve created a Facebook Group where you can trade/swap/buy/sell your shoes and pass your still-wearable pair to someone who still fits your size, and find a pair for the next perfect fit.

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Kids Prio

What can my kids do in these shoes?

The Prio is an “all-around” shoe. It’s good for walking, running, hiking, playing, climbing… you name it.

Should my children wear these with or without socks?

That’s totally up to you (or them).

The Prio is made so they can be worn with or without socks.

How do I pick the right size?

The Kids Prio is “true to size,” so select the typical size for your child.

Now, that said, sizing is not a science, there’s a lot of personal preference involved… Three people with identical feet will have three opinions about how the same shoe fits 😉

The Kids Prio isn’t waterproof. But the breathable mesh should dry quickly.

Xero Prio Kids good but better if it were lighter.

So far so good. My son is really happy with this model because it's very comfortable and flexible but he would like wearing a lighter shoe.

Seit Jahren für die Kinder

Für mich bzw. meine Kinder ein Schuh, der immer in der passenden Größe vorhanden sein darf 🙂 Perfekt für Frühling und Sommer. Nicht wasserdicht, dafür sehr leicht, bequem und robus.
