Yes, they survived!

I just received them and a day later I put them on my feet and go in the hight mountain for 5 day trekking adventure. At first I was worried that I don’t have enough advance in the shoe, but probably for a first time I didn’t had any problems with the thumbs (these are my first trekking barefoot shoes). In high Pirin mountain in Bulgaria there are mainly stones, we hiked technical trails with a lot of adrenalin, elevation and nonstop stone screes. The Michelin sole have a great traction and made the walk safe, I kicked a lot of stones on my way, but my thumbs were secured! I admit that I was sceptical at the beginning, but the shoes are really a very good choice for the trail paths! Even the Pirin ones. At the end of the day I never had the emergency need to take them off my feet, because nothing bothered me. Thank you.

Really Confortable!

I have already used them in a couple of hikes and find them super confortable although the sole in one of the shoes has began to come off in one of them. Also I think they can be slightly big (or wide) for me, but anyway, I love them!

These shoes are excellent! I like them and using almost every day for waling and running. They have very light and flexible sole. They are soft and easy to wear, I really like them.

Heavy duty sole

I love these! I wear them without insoles in order to have more ground feel, since the michellin sole is a bit thicker. The sole is very durable compared to mesa trail. It has amazing traction, perfect for trails! My feet are 25,5 and 25,2 cm and size 40,5 was feels good without insole, but with insole I would need size 41. I wear scrambler mid waterproof in size 41, because the boots are higher and push the foot a bit more forward, so I had to size up with those. I love the fact that these are vegan. They have great breathability. They are a bit heavier than mesa trail and the sole is thicker, but I the lugs on my mesa trails wore down very quickly, so I decided to give the michellin sole a go. The ground feel is less than with mesas and the shoes are a bit stiffer, but hopefully this will be offset by higher durability of the scrambler. I wish xero also made some more subdued and feminine coloured shoes.
