Comfortable yet true to barefoot shoes

Felt great, even on my first wear. Takes some getting used to the wide toebox but looking forward to seeing how these improve performance. Only downside is the traction on dusty courts. I play on a dusty court and could very quickly feel them start tot get slippery. A non translucent outsole paired with a grippier outsole pattern could make this the ultimate performance basketball shoe!

finally

Walking and running "barefoot" since two decades. Only Basketball once a week required changing movements. Gamechanger with the X1. Much faster.

Good on foot but slippery on court

Shoe has very good structure, feels good on foot, movements are easy, and my feet stay put inside the shoe. Colorway is fabulous. Happy that insoles and sole provide a little bit of cushion. I like how high collars hug my ankles. I have been waiting for a basketball shoe like this. However, traction is inconsistent with slippery moments. Laces are too long, but a nice suprise to have extra purple laces, though I prefer original yellow laces. Shoes smell toxic even after a few weeks. Overall, I like the shoe very much, but due to bad traction this version may not be for indoor basketball use.

Great fit and quality

Was looking for a barefoot basketball shoe for a while, I'm really glad I bought these. I already had some casual xero shoes, so i was already impressed by their great quality. The fit of the xero 1 is great, wide in the toe box but snug around the ankle for great support.
