With four adjustment points across the instep and heel, you’ve never had comfort and security like this in a huarache-style sandal.

Adjust the tension and angle of the toe strap, the location of the instep strap, and the position of your foot in the sandal with the heel strap. Put this all together, and the H-Trail holds your foot wherever you take it without the pressure points typically associated with a thong-style sandal.

A little disappointing.

In general these are very comfortable to wear. But my main gripe with them is the quality of the sole. Just after the first use, the top side of the sole started to scrape and deform at the point where my feet seem to press the hardest when walking. And it wasn't even a long hike, it was about 5 km of mostly flat, gravel roads. The straps, while comfortable, stretch very quickly, especially if you use these for running. It's quite annoying to have to retighten them mid-walk or a run. And I'm running out of velcro straps as it is, and they still don't feel secure enough. Considering these are marketed as hiking sandals, i would have expected them to be made of sturdier materials. Don't get me wrong, I like to wear them, but seeing them deform like that in such a short time, I wouldn't count on them to last two, maybe even just one season. Does that justify such a high price (I got them for 90 euros)? I don't think so. The quality just isn't there.

H-Trail in Holland

Trage die H- Trail seit 2 Wochen jeden Tag im Urlaub, einfach nur perfekt. Egal welche Temperaturen, von 10 - 25 Grad. Anfängliche Einstellungen der Riemen, aber das war nach einem Tag erledigt. Seitdem trage ich sie 16 Stunden am Tag und ich möchte keine anderen Schuhe mehr tragen, einfach nur perfekt.

Real barefoot feeling

I love these sandals, they give such a real barefoot feel, I've never used huarache style sandals before and was a little concerned about the rope between the toes but it actually seemed very comfortable, but what impresses me most is their durability. I did 20km of trail with 1500m of ascent/descent and a variety of surfaces - it was fine uphill and downhill (just got a bit slippery inside in the morning dew). After this hard trail the sandals are in perfect condition, still can be used as everyday sandals.
