Trail-Ready Sole

De H-Trail heeft een FeelTrue® rubberen buitenzool met het dubbele chevron profiel voor meer grip. De TrailFoam™ middenlaag egaliseert de oneffenheden en het BareFoam™ voetbed geeft je precies het juiste comfort.

Voeg dit allemaal samen en geniet van je favoriete trails (zelfs die in de stad) terwijl je je voeten moeiteloos strekt en buigt en je optimaal contact hebt met iedere ondergrond.

Je voelt de H-Trail nauwelijks aan je voeten met een gewicht van 136 g per stuk in damesmaat 37,5. En als je hem ooit uitdoet (misschien vergeet je zelfs dat je hem draagt), neemt hij geen ruimte in je tas in en is hij perfect voor op reis.

Comfortable shoes with a slight manko

All in all the shoes are very comfortable. My usual walks are on asphalt, gravel and forest paths and they have a good grip and I love them. With one caveat: in heavy rain the inner sole gets slick and you get the feeling of a slippery shoe even if the outer sole is still gripping. Maybe it is just a personal thing, I don't know. I will still wear them daily on my walks.

Great barefoot feel

These a really beautiful sandals with an excellent fit. The sole has just the right amount of thickness to absorb sharp stones while still giving a real barefoot feel and foot freedom. Love wearing them.

The sole is perfect, the straps are not ...

After half a year and many kilometers walked in these sandals, I can say that the sole is perfect. Just the right balance between barefoot feeling and not getting my feet beaten up by the pavement when occasionally walking in the city. Very comfy, whether city or trail. However! What is up with the strap around the back of the foot? Why is it so long? This is a theme with Xero sandals (this is the 4th pair in our household, and they're all like this). It's as if the strap was made for a totally different size, or someone with elephant ankles. When tightening it to hold in my foot well, the end of the strap sticks out so far that another person can actually step on it, and the velcro barely overlaps. As a result, that small bit of velcro that does overlap has to hold the entire load, and has already significantly weakened. The two straps of the y-configuration aren't that great either: The velcro one gives you barely any adjustability, and the one with the buckle on the outer ridge of the foot is loose. I have to tighten it every time I put them on, and by now it even starts to loosen after a few km of walking. So while it's a comfy sandal, I have questions about its longevity. I can probably fix this with a sowing machine: I will put in a new velcro, this time in the correct place, and fix that loose strap in place. It will lose adjustability, but that's fine, I know the setting for my feet by now. But having paid 90€ for this amount of material, I really didn't expect to have to DIY it.

Comfortabel

In the beginning, I thought that I wouldn't get used to the straps between my toes. But I did. Now, they are the most comfortable sandals ever. I can wear them for hours without any issues or any blisters, like I had with my old sandals. I would buy them again.
